The DNAtrix's Gown

Cathelin Gray and I have been working on a play about brains and evolution. There is a character named the DNAtrix who is to wear a spiral gown and wield a spiral whip. When Brian Eno asked me to contribute a dress design for a benefit auction of fashion, I decided to realize a first version of the DNAtrix's gown.

I collaborated with a fashion design student in London named Christine Detlind, who did most of the work. The dress was well received, and even garnered a favorable review. Although I wasn't there, I understand there was a frenetic bidding war over it.
